This is a true jungle hideaway: perfect for anyone drawn to the wild beauty of nature. From your windows you can spot monkeys and toucans and fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest. While we’ve added modern comforts like air conditioning, pest control, a washer/dryer, and thoughtful design features, Casita La Raíz is still very much part of the jungle. Expect the rich biodiversity of Costa Rica including wildlife, critters, and the humid climate that comes with a rainforest setting. If you love nature and are comfortable coexisting with it, this is a magical place to call home.

In-unit laundry makes extended stays easy and convenient.

Enjoy your coffee while listening to howler monkeys. Large deck with patio furniture, and enough room to comfortably do yoga and other exercises.

Accessibility:
Please note that Casita La Raíz is accessed via a short but uneven jungle trail from the parking area. While it adds to the secluded charm, this may not be ideal for guests with mobility challenges, elderly travelers, or families with very young children. The loft sleeping area is accessed by a staircase, which also may not be suitable for everyone.
