Introducing Casa La Serena.

This strikingly impressive home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the magical finca, La Serena, in Turrubares.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor and one bedroom on the ground floor. The ground floor bedroom offers a private space for visiting guests. You'll find snug spaces with the two bow windows in the home offering supportive space for reading, meditating or simply taking in the expansive views of the surrounding natural views. There is a balcony and two terraces with decking offering alfresco spaces for sharing stories and meals.

Community
The property has five homes, with each one having ample privacy and space. Often times there are the odd family inhabiting one or two of the homes, giving a sense of small community here in Turrubares.

Connection with nature
This finca has a river beside the house and lots of space where it is just nature and animals.

Sports
The property has a shared swimming pool for laps and even a tennis court!! We've had plenty of fun between renting families on the property and some pretty competitive tennis matches!

How to get here
The finca is a 20 min drive from Orotina and 25 min drive from San mateo.

Living here is a unique experience, peaceful and full of life, but it also has a few things you should know before arriving:

🚙 Access: To get here you’ll need a 4x4 vehicle, as the road requires it. You will also need to cross a small creek, and during the rainy season, after a heavy rain, sometimes it’s best to wait a little until the water goes down before crossing safely.

🦋 Nature: Here you can truly feel the jungle in all its beauty. This means that from time to time you may have visits from insects or other little curious creatures.

💡 Services: Since we are in a small village, sometimes the electricity or water may go out for a few hours.
